About SBTI | Silly Big Personality Test
What is the SBTI Test?
SBTI (Silly Big Personality Test) is closer to a self-roasting personality quiz than to a serious psychometric tool. It borrows the familiar "answer questions -> get a result" format and treats MBTI as an easy entry point for many people, but what it actually offers is a way of expressing your state that feels much closer to internet culture. Through 31 random questions, 27 personality results, and 15 dimensions, it turns hard-to-name moods, relationship feelings, and behavior patterns into something you can recognize for yourself and something your friends can immediately read.
Our Story: From trying to sober up a friend to going viral
SBTI started in a very simple way. In April 2026, Bilibili creator @蛆肉儿串儿 made a small test while trying to persuade a heavy-drinking friend to quit, which is why the special DRUNK personality logic exists in the first place. What began as a small work with a very private context unexpectedly exploded across Weibo, RedNote, Douyin, Bilibili, and WeChat feeds overnight. The hashtag “SBTI personality test” quickly passed ten million views, and the official site crashed multiple times under the traffic. From that moment on, SBTI stopped being just a private joke and became internet shorthand people use to laugh at themselves, express their current state, and recognize each other.
Why did we build SBTI?
- Self-deprecation first: this is not a psychology tool, and it does not provide professional diagnosis, hiring advice, or dating advice.
- Make complicated states easier to say out loud: instead of handing down a solemn verdict, SBTI tries to name fuzzy moods, relationship feelings, and behavior patterns more concretely.
- Keep the social value: the result should work both as something you can look at alone and as something you can throw into the group chat and hear, "that is painfully you."
- Keep iterating: this is still an early version, and it will keep improving over time, but the core position stays the same: self-roasting, self-expression, and social sharing.
SBTI Features
- 27 absurd personality results: every type has its own setup, tone, and painfully specific read, with a few hidden routes triggered by chance.
- 15 dimension scores: self-clarity, attachment security, social boundaries, and more, organized in a way that is both readable and fun to compare.
- Randomized question flow: question order changes, and special questions do not always appear the same way every time.
- Highly shareable result pages: the output is built to be easy to screenshot, discuss, and throw at your friends.
